The Faculty of Arts offers short-term programmes throughout the year to students at different levels of studies.
In 2025, we offer classes for Summer Institute in the Arts & Humanities with different themes, such as AI and humanity, humanities and digital technologies, global and area studies, Arabic culture, global creative industries and interpretation. Students from all over the world will have the opportunities to interact with classmates and award-winning academics while pursuing academic advancement. Programmes at undergraduate and high-school levels are now open for application.
HKU and Arts Faculty have attained reputation and recognition worldwide. HKU ranks 26th in the world and 2nd in Asia by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Rankings 2024, and 1st in world's most international universities, 30th in the world and 4th in Asia by Times Higher Education University Rankings 2023. HKU Linguistics ranks 12th by QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023.
